Summer learning journey.

 I was learning about the summer learning journey we had to pick a NASA picture you wanted to color in last year we had to color in a wave. I enjoyed coloring the NASA pictures and I enjoyed it so much that I just had to make two. 

I found it hard to color the exact same colors to picture because most of the colors that I need weren't there so I just made my own colors. Next time I would change nothing.

we were learning about saints and you had to pick your favorite saint that you like inspires like me mine was saint vincent de paul the reason why I picked saint vincent de paul is because he's my house color saint and also he helped people that did not have much and was as much as possible to charity like food clothes and money and he helps refugees to.

I enjoyed making this and also drawing my saint and coloring it in and I had to describe him as like a saint one of them was compassion cause he has the compassion to help those in need.

I found it hard to draw the picture but it was fun and also hard to find words to describe him because he was so caring and nice. Next time i would change nothing.

Callender art

 I was learning about how to shade using a pencil I enjoyed making this and drawing my eagle it was fun and also we had to make shapes inside our birds that we picked and you had to outline it.

I found it really hard to color in the shape because most of my shapes were little and also sticking the confetti onto the side of my bird-like you had to circle the part you wanted to stand out and mine was the face.

Next time I would make my triangles little so that I could color them better.

 This week we were learning how to paint ourselves and also mix colors to make ur skin color. First, we had to take a photo then outline our photos after we had to do our skin tone mine was a chunk of yellow red and a little bit of black. Next, we paint our hair mine was black I enjoyed painting my hair, and my skin color also we had to paint our shirts. and also you had to do 2 codes of your skin color.

I found it really hard not to get paint on the laminator slip and maybe next time I would not put my art next to the paint. and i don't have a photo of my art.

2021 goal achevmints.

we were learning about the three things that we achieved in 2021 and also proud of it first you had to record yourself saying hi these are my three goal achievement in 2021 Then you add 2021 to the title after you add the three achievements your proud of then you're done.

I found it hard to write the three achievements and also next time maybe I would change the subheading and change my video.

 

Rangoli Art

we were doing rangoli art what is rangoli it is a traditional art that's celebrated in Diwali. we were learning about how to make rangoli art and also Diwali. I enjoyed making rangoli art it was fun to draw and also fun to the color I did this art with Noe Save Layton Benjamin h  and me Paula. I found coloring in the lines hard because the circles were kinda little but it was big too. Next time I would change nothing it's perfect.

School Should start at 9am.

we thought of a topic to write about and then we planned into our writing books. Next, we wrote it to our Chromebook. 

I enjoyed saying my speech in front of my class but also hard to speak in front of my class

I found it hard to stand up in front of one and read my speech.

Next time I would standstill in front of my class.

Beep! Beep! Do you get annoyed by the sound of your alarm? Are you sick and tired of waking up early? Do you think that we should start school at 9:00 o'clock? I believe that we should because you will have more energy, you can get ready on time and most schools start at 9am. 

Firstly, I strongly believe that the kids will have more sleep and more energy if school starts at 9am. How are you meant to do your Mahi if you're tired?. By sleeping, we have energy for fitness, PE and to know what we are learning about and why. The teachers can also sleep in too and they could teach us better. I'm not saying that they're teaching bad but everyone could most certainly do with some sleep. Why did the m&m go to school? He really wanted to be a smartie.

Secondly, if we were to start school at 9am we would definitely have more time to get ready. You would have time to have a shower, make your bed, and have a cooked breakfast. Also, my favorite is bacon and eggs.  

Lastly, most schools start at 9am so it would be fair if we started at 9am too. Sleeping in is good for your body. What do you call a tired pea? sleepy. It's always too early to wake up on a Monday at `4am and it will be too cold to walk to school. Then if you're cold you will definitely get sick and won't be able to come to school.

It is without a doubt that school should start at 9am because we will have more energy, you can get ready on time and most schools start at 9am. I hope that this can explain why we should start school at 9am.

 1 clip the wooden skewer into the clothespin so that it hangs down inside the glass and is about 1 inch 2.5 center meters from the bottom of the glass. 

2 remove the skewer and clothespin and put them aside for now Get a helpful adult Pour the water into a pan and bring it to boil.

3 pour about 1/4 cup of sugar into the boiling water, stirring until it dissolves.

4 keep adding more and more sugar, each time stirring it until it dissolves, until no more will dissolve. This will take time and patience and it will take longer for the sugar to dissolve each time.Be sure you don’t give up too soon. Once no more sugar will dissolve, remove it from heat and allow it to cool for at least 20 minutes.

note  While it is cooling, some people like to dip half of the skewer in the sugar solution and then roll it in some sugar to help jump start the crystal growth. If you do this, be sure to let the skewer cool completely so that sugar crystals do not fall off when you place it back in the glass.

5 have your friendly ADULT carefully pour the sugar solution into the jar almost to the top. Then submerge the skewer back into the glass making sure that it is hanging straight down the middle without touching the sides.

Allow the jar to fully cool and put it someplace where it will not be disturbed.

Now just wait. The sugar crystals will grow over the next 3-7 days.

I enjoyed making this I liked it when I was  highlighting the little words like bedroom and also 

Auckland.

I found it hard to make the WordArt cause I was confused about what to do but then I got hang of it.

Next time I would change the color in the background and the fonts.

We have been learning about bees and we were learning about summarising.

For this task, we had to write 20 important words and make 3 sentences using 6 keywords. and we had to sum up the keywords and make a paragraph.

I enjoyed making this and making the little paragraph with only 6 words.

I found it hard to make the 3 sentences with only 6 words but it was fun

I enjoyed making this was very fun and I learned another interesting  fact that that the first Olympic started 

 2 800 years ago.

I found it hard to find the facts for masscots.

My mini golf course design.

 I have been learning about length, width and perimeter.  There  was a song that we listened to and it was explaining what a  perimeter was.

 Then we learned that the length and width of whatever number it was you just have to time the two numbers and you'll get your answer.

  We learn this because this week we have been learning about measurements.

 I enjoyed making this mini-golf design. It was very fun to make.

 we have been learning about matariki we were making like a story like we go up to the stars and we talk to matariki and it's very interesting and I enjoyed making this especially when like chose were to go it was fun also I like how Mrs. Torrie showed us how to change our back round from one to another. that was fun and we got to pick our character which is actually call in scratch your sprite. coding was fun now what I found hard I found personally like controlling it but it was still fun

Today I learned how to make a rap out of the word called covent. 

and like explaining what a covenant is. our rap sounds so good and even though we started like two weeks ago we still finish I enjoyed making this with my buddy noe and Jaden and save but he's not here he's gone camping with his family and he's coming on Tuesday. and when he comes back I'm gonna show him on Tuesday and if you have time comment. I enjoyed making this and it was good.

Did you know there was a couple in their 80s who had a baby? Read to learn more.

I was learning about Abraham and Sarah so it begins once there was a couple named Sarah Abraham and they did not have babies and they have tried many times but they will never get babies so God told Abraham to go to the canyon with Sarah and there you will get babies. Abraham told Sarah and Sarah did not believe him so she started laughing and they went there and when Abraham turned 100 they got a baby Sarah was so happy. So yeah that was the story and I enjoyed making this play. I was Sarah and Unasie was Abraham and Angela was in our group but she didn't so Mikaela stepped in to play as god and narrator and Layton was our cameraman. In world war one they sacrificed for us. I learned this because it's an important day for new Zealanders and I'd imagine that it was like one of my family members and they died. So I think this is important to remember because they sacrificed. It went well. I learned that it's not easy to be a soldier in the army because back then they never had an iPhone 11 and Samsung and if you had a phone at the war which you wouldent and you wouldn't have service. I enjoyed making this and I liked making this story it was fun. I was just thinking of a man's name but there are woman soldiers too so I just named Audrina after my dog that's still little and it's orange tan.

 today I was doing all the letters in sign language it was pretty cool next time I could have said like this is my ABC in like the start.

THE VIRIDESCENT ISLAND

I could see the crystal clear ocean. It was so lucid that I could see myself.

I can hear the calm swaying waves as the boat slowly crashes the waves. 

I could smell the salty water as the sun shines on me.

As the waves are splashing on me the refreshing wind hits me it feels so good.

I could taste the fresh delighted coconut it was like metallic brown.

MY COSY BEDROOM

my favorite part is my ps4 and led lights.

The led lights are on top of my room on the edges. I have a ps4 i have my own TV pretty big. I have three controllers 2 mics.

 I like to play Fortnite with my friends from old school Tehapara.

 and I have to clean my room every time I hide cans under my bed. I have my own rubbish bag.

 I have too many clothes that I need two whole drawers.

 I got jackets. Every time I go into my room I hear the birds chirping. I could hear my neighbor's dogs barking. It does not sound good and I have a pretty good view. I can see anybody that comes to my house.

 I can taste the food that I sneak into my room like drinks and snacks. When it's night time I turn on the LEDs and then play games. I can smell the food that I hide under my bed.

and this is why I like my room.

CYBERSMART

 I was learning to compare the old days to nowadays.

I really enjoyed making this.

I found like thinking for the ideas hard.

MY GOAL SETTINGS

 I was doing my goal settings and some of my goals were like talk positively and say no more bad words and my mom is going to help me by supporting me to say nice words.

I enjoyed making this I mean doing this and I hope I actually achieve my goals at the end of the year before I go to middle school.

Next time maybe ill concentrate on my learning and I hope I get my times next year.

 I was learning about the Easter story like Jesus took the bread and said this is my body take it and even doe Jesus did not want to die he had to because the bible says he has to die for our sins and once you die like your basically repaying him he died for us we die for him.

I liked making this it was super fun to make and I learned some new facts like even doe god is Jesus real dad he still has prayed and I hope in the future that I will learn some new facts

WHALE ART

 I was learning about whale art I was dying like paint dye not actually dying we did this about like 3 to 4 weeks ago and I finished it ages ago but I had to do the sharpie bit so I basically finished 2 days ago whales were killed back then and got aten or got sealed at the market but then the border said no more eating whales so from that moment on we haven't eaten whales and there was ages ago like centuries ago so that's it and it was fun to make but also hard.                                                       

HOURTA WAKA

 I was learning about horouta waka like kiwa climbed the mountain and then he named it tuaaraingi Nui then paoa went and try to fined timber because they were trying to go to New Zealand but he hit the sand boulder so paoa found the right tree then put in the water and it sailed then the boat was fixed then kiwa went back with paoa and then they celebrated.

HOT CROSS BUNS

 I was learning about hot cross buns and the cross on the bun symbolizes when he died for us on Good Friday. 

i enjoyed making this and like learning facts like they put spices on gods body and they washed him because its because the had respect.

I found writing challenging like the facts but at the same time it was fun.

Two truths and a lie

 so we were writing our two truths and a lie and I hope you get my game right and it was so fun to make and I hope you like my game and maybe your right maybe you not it's a mystery.

next time maybe add a little bit more detail and like be specific like what I'm writing about and writing about like something that already happend.

sea week

 we learning about sea week i did electric sting rays it was fun to make. and let me tell you a story once I was um hawai i sawed a eltric sting ray and I was terrified. but that was like ages ago so yeah and if you have time pls comment.

st patricks day

 I was learning about st Patrick I did some facts this was fun to make I like the gifts he's dancing but its kinda still creeping me out but yeah we celebrated st Patricks day and you won't believe it every teacher was wearing green like miss hick ling was wearing a green hoodie and green socks and had green pants on.

I enjoyed making this and I learned some cool facts like this is an Irish tradition and I haven't had anything Irish related on this blog so it was pretty fun to make but don't forget they were all wearing green like if you try to find someone not wearing it was impossible apart from Richard he's our caretaker cause miss Wagner moved jobs it was sad so yeah that was what I enjoyed.

I found typing the facts kinda hard but I  still liked it it was kinda interesting like reading these facts I was kinda confused cause I thought it was a new Zealand tradition but I remember the plant I think that's on the Irish flag I don't know but yeah that was hard.

next time I would change nothing cause I'm good with everything that I done yeah I think I've actually done a good one and I like it a lot like the gifs there kinda creepy but they also look cool and the facts I'm proud of myself.

chinese new year

 Today we were learning about the chines new year like it marks the first day of the New Year on the Chinese calendar. and it is the Year of the Ox. it was cool making this like the images and the videos.

I enjoyed making my slide like I said in my first sentences it was fun the writing like the filter of the writing it's called a font yeah a font.

next time I wish I could celebrate it cause it sounds fun. and I wanna see the fireworks. I would change nothing like the way it is.

 I was learning about the rules of our class and what we need to do to be respectful like don't have kai or drinks near your chrome book and come with your chrome book fully charged.

let me tell you a story so I had chips and cola and I was watching on my Chromebook then splash it spiled I was so worried I wiped it and luckily it was still working.

 so this is room twos kawa of care so we have to follow the rules so we come with our Chromebook fully charged and we don't have kai or drinks close to our Chromebooks.

my super heros

 I was learning about what your superpower was like for example like my super is to never give up or my superpower is to focus on my learning.

I enjoyed making my superhero its name will probably be neon pow! anyways I like the color my hair was kinda hard but I found out how to do it just use a polyline.

I found making the t-shirt and pants hard I was gonna put on a cape on the hero but it was too hard so I found polylineingthe cape hard that's why I don't have a cape but I still look awesome.

next time I  would probably work slower cause I was going fast so decided to create another one but I wasn't the first one I was 4th to last. and I wanted to cover the gaps where you can see my t-shirt and pants so that's it.

WAITANGI

 today I was learning  about waiting I learned a lot of facts like the founding doc cemetery was found on February 6, 1840, and in 1830 over 1000 ships from Europe visited new Zealand a  year 

I enjoyed making this and listening to what it was like in the 18s all I know about 19s that it wasn't actually black and white it's just like that.

I found learning the facts hard but it was still kinda easy I like challenges their fun and also hard but that's the only thing I found hard the rest was easy.
